Regular  115 |  Subject: I am over having long hairI am so ready to cut my hair.....but I need 1 more inch. Soon I can swim and have dry hair in the same hour! Ladies I do not know how you do it. My hats off to you. Complaining over_ Dan

sometimes it can be a pain. i agree. but having long hair, i think, is easier to maintain than a shorter 'style,' where i had to keep cutting it to keep the style. be careful what you wish for. you'll cut it short. and in a week...you'll miss that long hair!

Long hair was fun after so many years of short hair; I made an authentic John Lennon last year for Halloween. However, when it was time to cut it off I didn't miss it at all. It was cool to have short hair and just brush it with my fingers out of the shower and go! If you've grown it for Locks of Love, which it sounds like you might have, good job  It's a cool thing to have done. |

Cut off my long hair to a chin length 15 months ago and haven't regretted it even for a moment. Not everyone loves long hair. In fact I find short hair MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH easier. Love the short hair!!!! |

I used to shave my head with #2 guard every tue. night for 8 years. It was fun for a while but now I am ready. When I was in college and on the snowboarding circuit I do not remember it being such a hassle. But I did not have to try to go to a directors meeting after an hour in the pool. A picture soon to follow. |

I miss it sometimes but having short hair is so much easier specially if you have an active lifestyle, now most of the time i dont even go to the barbershop, just pop the #1 and off it goes. |

I guess the gals use swim caps for protection. I hate those things and only use them in races. I find them incredibly difficult to put on dry hair anyway. Shower first then cap? Either way, I think even with a cap frequent pool soakings would ruin hair faster than it can grow out. |
