Subject: RE: Desert half in OssoyosI've registered. I am already looking into how to prepare for the heat in my training. At this point I am starting the 20 week HIM program from beginnertriathlete, before transitioning into the 16 week intermediate program, or at least a modified version of it. It's going to be a long training season to Osoyoos, and it's going to be a tough race!!! I guess I am also going to try to have a lot of hill climbing under my belt before then. I am even thinking about the 2XU tri suit that is supposed to lower your temperature by 5 F. Kind of hard to believe, but maybe it's worth it. I must say it is disheartening to read some comments about how difficult it will be, but I've registered so it's time to get going! |
