Pre-race routine:

No time for much of a warm up. Dropped the kids off and then drove down the hill. Had some breakfast and a cup of coffee in the car.
Banana and cereal + 1/2 bagel.
Event warmup:

Little jogging and little dride to test the road. Not enough warm up or stretching with the weater so cold.

Forgot to take helmet off and had to run back. All I could think of was my freezing feet!!

remember the helmet and take out the toe warmers.

Kudos to everyone who participated and volunteered. It was seriously -6 at the start and a balmy +6 at the finish...
But I won my division and got second in the series even though I didn't even do the second race. :)

Slow due to snow and ice on the course. I was one of VERY few people riding a road bike on the slick roads, but I really think it was a ton faster for me.

COOLLLLDDD. I really wanted to be sub 8:30, but I had to stop twice to adjust my shoes. I really thought there was a rock or something in my shoe, but it wass just my frozin toe!! I think my last 2 miles were probably 8:15ish and the first two SLOW. They didn't have the miles marked this time though.
