Swim
Comments: Felt good considering the water temp. Kept my 100 splits under 1:30 so I was happy about that. I didn't go out too hard, the guy I was swimming next is a member of the Chi Tri club and I knew he was a better swimmer. He covered 1500 yds to my 1375. What would you do differently?: Hard to say. Lost some of my focus for awhile. Transition 1

Transition 2
Run
Comments: This was an area of disapointment. I had to run back to the locker room to get my new watch/hr monitor. When I got back it was time to run, I couldn't get my watch to the right setting in time and my HR monitor wasn't picking up a signal. So I had no idea how fast I was going and how much time I had left. Really wish I could have gotten the watch to work, very tough running a pace when you don't know how much time is left. What would you do differently?: Learn to use your HR mont/watch Post race
Warm down: Shower, walking one lap. What limited your ability to perform faster: Warm water No watch Last updated: 2006-04-10 12:00 AM

Took a cab down to Gold Coast. Had one Snickers marathon bar and some Accelaride (sp). Filled water bottle with half water/g-aid.
A little stretching to loosen up the shoulders
