It has been there so long it shows up in google earth. Search 'Isola del Giglio' and look on the east coast of the island, right above the ferry lane.

Pretty amazing how it was all done. Couple articles stating how since it was only 3 hours after the cruise took off from port, people hadn't had time to put stuff away, so a lot of their goods were all in luggage and the cruise line plans to return as much back to everyone as possible. They said if it was after a few days then the safes would have been full and the majority of valuables would have been able to be returned to the owners. Wet, but returned.
