What's your drink of choice when it comes to planning your training workouts? Do you build out your schedule in TP, BT or Garmin Connect? I'm finishing my plan for my next A race this weekend, and I've always charted my plans out in Excel before... meh. I'd like something with at least a basic calendar function.
Thanks!

Build in Excel, bulk load into BT.

TP works well for a coached account but not so well for an individual account. It's great for post workout stats but average for planning.

If you are good at excel you can do funky stuff, like time to TSS and create a PMC chart to predict fitness at a later date :-)

Yeah, that sounds like fun. I'm really interested in getting the TSS and PMC features. How would I do this on my own? I know Excel...

TSS = IF^2 * 1.6667 * minutes at that intensity
So if cycling at 70% 1 hour = .7^2 * 1.667 * 60 = 49

I use this from echappist on ST
for ctl/atl : exp(-1/tau)*CTL(yesterday) + [1-exp(-1/tau)]*TSS(today).
Tau being 42 for CTL and 7 for ATL
TSB is the difference of CTL and ATL from the day before
