Thought about this one... Dynamic race events has a pic of two guys at the lake and say it's alright. Let us know! Thinking of doing this one next year!

I'm a little late on this, but I did it for the first time this year and it was great! Water was pretty cold; I think I remember them saying around 16 degrees? But I had gone for a couple of practice swims at Jericho beach in the week before, so I was used to cold water by that point..

Highly recommend it!

It ought to be a tad warmer this year, as the race has been moved to nearer the end of June. There will be a May race in Nanaimo, though

I found a sprint, the Lake Las Vegas Triathlon, that was happening four months down the road and signed myself up; much to the surprise of friends and family.

I am running Boston in April and Ironman Lake Placid is in July. I have been told that it is ambitious to think about doing an IM so close to a marathon due to the recovery time. Any suggestions?
