Another beautiful day in the desert--I am loving our unexpectedly mild winter--not that we ever get THAT cold but it's already 45 degrees and no wind. Loving it! Getting out for a long hike with the dog squad, going to do a lot of climbing to tire my legs a bit to prepare for my long run tomorrow. Need to start practicing running on tired legs! It's so beautiful out I might pack a book and sit up where I get to and read a bit. Have a great training day! |

Master 8250   Eugene, Oregon Bronze member | Subject: RE: 1.13.18 Sunny Saturday "Winter" here too--it got down to 68! 1:10 "Long run" I have lost so much run fitness that it actually did feel LONG. I though for a moment about going in and putting on a tech shirt (over a camisole top) but didn't bother. Did get warm running but never worked up much of a sweat. 3000m of swimming later. The water was not terribly warm. Worse yet, the shower wasn't hot. Winter in Vietnam.... |
