Subject: 4.1.18 Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit and Happy Easter!

Good morning BT! It's a beautiful Easter morning here in the desert!

I have packed some lunch, a notebook, and Ultra Running magazine--heading out to one of my favorite trails for a two hour trail run followed by some lunch, writing, and reading sitting out in the sun in the mountains. What a day!  Then...back to reality, need to get into my classroom and get set for 4th quarter--10 weeks until summer!!! 9 weeks until my 1st 50K!

JWhite...funny how sometimes our workouts are flexing the mental muscle isn't it?  I think those are just as important.  Good on you for getting out the door and getting it done!

Happy Easter!

8:30(!) - 40’ easy spin on the bike
9:10 - 30’ run at an “uncomfortable” pace. It actually felt great.

Three hour trainer ride. Heavy rain last night so not motivated to get out and ride. It felt good to get back on my own bike....Trying to do workouts on the hotel spin bike was doing a number on my butt!

Not a whole lot of Easter action here. We went out for brunch after my ride, then did lots of vacation laundry, tried to dry out shoes (wet from sweat, rain, and seaside humidity), and ended up taking naps for the rest of the afternoon. Cats were happy to help with that!

Note: Unable to post much last week as we were on an island in Indonesia. The internet actually worked pretty well, but my IP got blocked by BT--maybe spammers there? Every time I tried to reply to a thread, it said, "This IP has been restricted."
