The goal is to turn your whole month Peach by logging a workout every day of the month. MINIMUM of 15 minutes of training a day. Let the Peach Times Roll.

I am in. July will be a tough month especially with vacation but I will do something. I plan to pack my swimsuit and running shoes.

I'm back for more. I started off my peachy July with a 22 mile road bike ride followed by a very short 3 mile mountain bike ride with a friend who just bought a fancy new Specialized Epic Expert mountain bike. My poor aluminum Orbea Occam tucked it's tail between it's legs and whimpered a little when the Specialized showed up. I have a 6 mile run planned at lunch today, it could be interesting because it is supposed to be a high of 95 with 90% humidity today. Whew.

I started slow yesterday, but a peach none the less. Vacation is going to make this difficult, but I will do it! I WILL.

I bet your bike did just fine with that young whippersnapper bike! Hydrate today and don't overheat!

Ha! It's actually not even an old bike, I bought it in March... 5 days before my first ever mountain bike race.. yeah, nothing like waiting until the last minute. I actually love my bike, just wish it was a flashy carbon fiber bike, but it gets the job done.
Anyway, lunch run went really well, I was shocked. Weather channel said it was 90, but it honestly didn't feel like it. I started slow but sped up as I went.

i thought about that, but the idea of running at 4am just doesn't appeal...plus my town doesn't believe in street lights, so all the paths are dark until at least 5:15 right now...i'll probably run in the evening, its been cooler then

made day 2 a peachy day, although my arms felt like lead in the pool

Can I still join in the fun? I have managed to keep peach the first two days and didn't even know there was a challenge going on. If not it isn't a big deal.

Mine was spent doing school work towards a master's degree. Now to get an 18 page paper done by the end of the week. The joys of higher education.

So I missed a day. Dang it. Third day of the month and I missed it. I'm back on track now though, trying to get in workouts in the morning so I don't get caught up in daily activities and miss out. My training partner officially decided to make me her "coach" for Augusta 70.3 instead of the coach she was using that didn't pay any attention to her, so I'm doing most of her workouts with her.

The boat was being tossed around. Someone noted that there were whitecaps on the waves. Another guy said, “This is going to be challenging.” I began to wonder what he meant by 'challenging'.

The Boulder Peak bike course is legendary. It is, literally and named as such, one of the toughest bike legs in the country.
