Veteran 444 | Subject: RE: JULY Peach Challenge I'm back for more. I started off my peachy July with a 22 mile road bike ride followed by a very short 3 mile mountain bike ride with a friend who just bought a fancy new Specialized Epic Expert mountain bike. My poor aluminum Orbea Occam tucked it's tail between it's legs and whimpered a little when the Specialized showed up. I have a 6 mile run planned at lunch today, it could be interesting because it is supposed to be a high of 95 with 90% humidity today. Whew. |

It's actually not even an old bike, I bought it in March... 5 days before my first ever mountain bike race.. yeah, nothing like waiting until the last minute. I actually love my bike, just wish it was a flashy carbon fiber bike, but it gets the job done. Anyway, lunch run went really well, I was shocked. Weather channel said it was 90, but it honestly didn't feel like it. I started slow but sped up as I went. |

Veteran 444 | Subject: RE: JULY Peach Challenge So I missed a day. Dang it. Third day of the month and I missed it. I'm back on track now though, trying to get in workouts in the morning so I don't get caught up in daily activities and miss out. My training partner officially decided to make me her "coach" for Augusta 70.3 instead of the coach she was using that didn't pay any attention to her, so I'm doing most of her workouts with her. |

I did too...was supposed to do a 3 hour bike ride when I got home last night...but my phone was at like 50% so i threw it on the charger...next thing I knew it was 3 hours later |
