It's an indication of how many times your personal information has been accessed by members and/or moderators on the site.

Mainly, it's used to decipher your hotness factor.

"Witty-ness" meter...the more creative and clever your posts, the greater number of stars...See posts from folks like "the bear", "spokes", etc. At 10K, BT retires your avatar and names a star after you!

Seriously, though, I think its related to the number of posts you make. Head to the Cup of Joe thread and pump your rating without remorse...never mind, you're already there...duh!

See....very little creativity or cleverness in my post, hence my three-star rating.

better yet,, venture over to the TAN thread's,  you can get sucked in very easily though and before you know it your over a 1,000.
