If all it took to swim fast was to download stuff from the internet, I'd have had Phelps crying himself to sleep for years.

That's a pretty cool app. Now is Mr. Smooth swimming TI? His head looks a little higher up and his hand drives to a higher location than what TI encourages, doesn't it? So this is more like how the good swimmers (who learned as kids) swim... Not that TI swimmers can't be good. But Mr. Smooth's method of swimming requires a stronger kick to maintain balance in the water, right?

The app also cleared up elbow position for me a bit. I notice that i always think of my elbow position from the Top - which i always think my body is pointed to the top. But it's not - since it's rotating. Watching other swimmers though, you can't really capture what their relative elbow position is, due to rotation. I thought the bottom up view of Mr. Smooth helped understand relative positioning.

When you speed up Mr. Smooth to the fastest setting his stroke doesn't change. Is that realistic? Doesn't one reduce stroke length a bit at a higher rate?
