Subject: Ironman 70.3 transition
I am thinking about competing in a 70.3, but am wondering how many people change clothes during transition.   Does anybody?  Also, just in T1 or also in T2?  Any advice is much appreciated.

Neither of the HIMs I've raced had changing tents.

Most people wore tri tops and tri shorts or a tri suit!

i changed shirts in T2 so i wouldn't muffin top on the run.

The vast majority of Half Iron distance races will not have a changing area, and nudity is not allowed. I've seen people throw on a bike jersey in T1, but that's about the extent of "changing" clothes you will see.

I did see one race that had a Full Iron distance alongside the Half, and the organizers said if the Half folks really wanted to use the change tent they could, but it was meant for the Full Distance athletes.

A good pair of tri shorts and a tri top will get you through this distance just fine.

I trishort and jersey during swim/bike but change shirt and shorts via towel trick.  Somewhere M-daddy had a set of pic of me changing.  Why he was interested is beyond me.
