Subject: Garmin and elevation What Up?
So I did a big century ride on Saturday and my Garmin readout said I had 1,892 feet of climbing.
A buddy of mine rode 76 miles (Most of which is on the same route that I took) and his Garmin readout said he has 3.373 feet of of climbing...

I have a Garmin 305 He has the 910. Both uploaded to Strava..

910 uses barometric pressure, and does not require elevation correction, as it's generally more accurate than the 310.   310 uses gps coordinates, and requires elevation correction in garminconnect.

Thanks.. I noticed that the elevation was more accurate when I uploaded to Garmin Connect. the upload to Strava showed the incorrect elevation.
