Subject: how to input my own custom training plan
perhaps I missed it, but the old threads I went through do not explain how I can input my own custom plan. I am using a written plan, but would like to input the plan into BT so that I can compare planned v. actual, have it online rather than written, etc. is there a way that I can input my own plan, or does 'custom' plan creator mean I need to use a BT custom plan?

thanks in advance

There are 3 different ways:

1 - You can create it in a CSV spreadsheet and upload it the import it into your log.

2 - You can create the plan in Settings --> Training log settings --> My training plans + import'

Just go to the 'create a personal training plan' box to start.  Once fully created, you will 'Upload to your training'.  This way the plan can be re-used over and over.

3 - Go to 'training log --> My training plan' and start creating your plan.

Let me know if you need some additional help.

Hi Ron,

question on sports - it only allows comments on the import and strength only allows time no specifics.

Anyway to add a specific sport like Pilates?

Thanks,

Ann

Sorry I missed this, I got a email notification thinking you figured it out but I guess not.

Regarding the sports import, which method are you importing it?

My left leg is significantly shorter than my right by 7mm. For the bike I got an extra shim in my cleat, so I'm wondering if orthotics would be called for in my running shoes?

Using a high-volume schedule for many months is not the best tactic. Build speed and skill several months out, and then transition to a high-volume IM plan.
