Looking for a coach

Do you want an in-person coach, or are you willing to go with someone remotely? Advantages and disadvantages to both. My coach is in Colorado- I am in Texas. It's been pretty good. There are some times I wish my coach was local, especially for the swim. But otherwise it's been fine. If you swim with a club, you're probably already getting some good feedback on form anyway. Not every coach is going to work for every person and making sure that you are a good fit with a coach that you are considering is very important. There are also many coaches out there who simply have a template and basically every athlete is doing the same thing. If you are getting a coach, make sure you are getting a program that is designed for you and that has the opportunity for review/revision as required.
