Subject: Best places to ride in the Cloverdale/Langley area
Hey all,

I just bought a place out in Cloverdale and I'm looking for places to ride. Any suggestions?

I also had an interview a couple of weeks ago for an internal job posting, and the guy interviewing me suggested that I join Team Coastal and go riding with him.

Does anyone ride a Tri bike in those big road bike packs?

And if anyone knows "Al" can you ask him when I am going to hear about the job? j/k

Head south-east from Cloverdale toward Campbell Valley Park and Zero Avenue.  Lots of nice farm roads and rolling hills.

Some groups of roadies let you ride with them as long as you don't use the aerobars.  Other groups will make you take the bars off.  It just depends....I'm not sure about Coastal.

I put drop bars and STI shifters on my tri bike.  I have to take the aerobars off once a week to race the Tuesday Nighters at UBC.

They make you take them off? Seems like a bit of a pain in the butt.

There's a couple Als in Coastal. Does he ride a black and silver picci?

You can't use tri bars in a bike race unless it's a TT. Some of the Coastal group rides will allow tri bars/bikes and some won't. It depends on which ride you go on. Probably the faster ones won't allow it.

The Spring Series is out in Langley/Aldergrove and it's over for this year, but there are some great routes. You can use these maps and get some ideas for places to ride out there:
