Talk to me about this weeks LOST. I just watched it on TIVO and feel that I might have missed a lot. Who was the grey-haired man at the medical facility with Claire? Didn't we see vaccine bottles in the hatch?  What's the story with Ecco and the captive?

I think that the teenage girl that helped Claire is Rousseau's daughter.

Can someone link me to the great LOST blog that revealed so much about the egyptian symbols?

Who was the grey-haired man at the medical facility with Claire? I strongly suspect it was Zeke, aka Mr. Friendly, the guy from the raft that took Walt, and confronted Jack and Locke in the Jungle. Certainly sounded like him, and the theatrical glue and fake beard was a bit of a giveaway.

Didn't we see vaccine bottles in the hatch?  Yes, Desmond was injecting himself in the bunker right before the Lostees blew up the hatch. There are screen captures out there that show the vials to be the same.

What's the story with Ecco and the captive?  Good question. Why the urge to "confess" to a stranger who may or may not be a member of the group that he "wronged"? As  a side note, I'm now convinced that Henry Gale (the captive) is an "other," perhaps even intentionally planted to create conflict. I was a little disappointed with the ease at which he was able to psychologically manipulate Locke.

I think that the teenage girl that helped Claire is Rousseau's daughter.  Probably a safe assumption.

Can't help you with the  'great LOST blog.' Most definitive interpretation of the symbols I've heard is something along the lines of "to cause death."

Overall I thought this was a great episode, lots of stuff revealed, as usual more questions than answers. Two more weeks of reruns ahead.

I am getting sick of this "one new episode/followed by two weeks of reruns crap" just produce more episodes and show them back to back already.

Bear, I agree with you 100% on everything you said.

It really irritates me that we keep getting all these reruns... I want a season of no reruns and then a break where they can catch people up dang it. Although I do wonder if the reruns they show are with purpose. possibly to show me something I missed the first time???

What was the deal with Ecco cutting off the two "braids" on his chin? Obviously, to me, each one represented one of the people he killed...but what give?

I think the Ekko thing has something to do with what he saw in the "monster" a few weeks ago. He understands that the others are taking the "good" people, so maybe he feels that if he confesses and repents for killing the two others that night, that he'll have a second chance.
