Run
Comments: Legs were a little sore to begin with. Otherwise a good run. I went out way to quickly chasing some of the 5k runners (I didn't know that they were 5k runners at the time). First mile was 6:10, hit the second mile in under 13:00, and then began to fade a bit. Was able to run sub 7 minute miles until mile 5 then I really started to slow down. What would you do differently?: Start slower and settle into a groove and then turn on the jets for the second half of the race. I can't complain though, hardware again this race. Post race
Warm down: Drank water and cheered on other finishers. What limited your ability to perform faster: Heat and humidity, and the fact that I have done virtually no speed work in weeks. Event comments: Good race for anyone looking for a Peachtree qualifying time. Last updated: 2006-05-26 12:00 AM
