I'm a lady on a mission.

First, a picture of a baby:

That's my wee nephew. See that toy in his hands? What the heck is that thing called, and does anyone know where to get one?

One of my brother's colleagues from Europe (Netherlands, I believe) sent that as a gift for PhoenixNephew's birth. He loves it. It is his favorite thing in the world. I'd like to get a back up for him for Christmas, just in case the little dude happens to lose it, as babies are want to do, or it gets destroyed in some way. But I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what it is called, and my googling skills are failing.

There may be snickerdoodles involved if someone can help me.

Is it all one thing? It looks like two things--a bigger grey thing and a smaller yellow thing.

True there's two things there- I'm after the big gray stripey giraffe-looking thing.

I hunted around on some websites of Dutch toy stores, but no luck. I did find a website for English-speaking ex-pat moms in Amsterdam (further proof that you can find anything on the Internet). Maybe you could contact them and someone on there could help?

I know this isn't it, but it seems like a close second if you are desperate. There's even a moose that's 'Christmas-y'.

And here's another site. It's not it, but might lead to something else:

GOOD LUCK!

I live in London but travel to Amsterdam a lot for work and one of my best friends works there - I'll see what I can do.  Are there any labels on it at all that give any clue?

I'll send him the picture (with your permission) as well if you like?

There are lots of independant shops in the Netherlands for reasons I won't bore you with now.
