Subject: RE: 12.29.16 Thursday Workouts! Did the same thing here with a bunch of clothing and old T-shirts--my parents are always threatening to move and want me to clear out stuff, plus supposedly one of my Christmas presents is one of those quilts made with race T-shirts. Picked out those that are for memorable races but don't actually fit--amazing how many fit the last category. Apparently the issue of race T-shirts coming mainly in XXS or XXL is not recent--I have shirts from races when I was 12 or 13, even 10, that clearly could never have fit, then or now, one way or another! I would guess that even now only about 1 in 3 shirts actually fit.
Just 3100m of swimming here. I tried out the sleeved tri suit that I got in Australia and to my surprise it was fine for swimming without a wetsuit. Thought there would be a lot of drag, but there wasn't. Did get some strange looks from the other swimmers and the lifeguard--they get the occasional triathlete types in trisuits and even those buoyancy shorts, but I don't think they'd seen a sleeved suit before. It does look kind of like a baby onesie, if babies wore black onesies with green sea turtle motifs! (I really hit pay dirt in my effort to avoid plain black or pink--the sleeveless suit I got is black with what looks like rainbow-colored jelly beans! )
May be wearing that sleeved suit next week--low temps supposed to be down in the teens then, and this is the OUTDOOR POOL!
