It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...mine anyway! 6:45am: 60 minute trail run followed by about :20 minutes core when I got home. Such a gorgeous morning! I'm jealous of all you doing C'da 70.3! I will always love that area even though IMCDA 2015 was nothing short of brutal--it has a soft spot in my heart! Heading to Salt Lake City today for some family fun and to pick out flowers--an annunal Memorial Day venture! Have a great day all--we are all killing it this week! |

New user 1351   Austin, Texas | Subject: RE: 5.27.17 Super Saturday! My internal clock is still way off from the jetlag. Went to sleep at 7 lastnight and was up and ready to go at 4 so I had a nice quiet 5 mile run with the deer and cotton tails. Not a bad schedule actually. Have fun in SLC |

Long run with a lot of tempo stuff--even starting at 5:45 AM, it pretty much wiped me out for the rest of the day. But had a bunch of errands to run so not much chance for "recovery". Did get in a easy 2K of swimming later in the morning. Lots of booming and banging PM but it never actually did anything beyond some light drizzle--probably working up to a bigger storm today. Rainy season has started in earnest here! Pretty much every afternoon around 3, it gets dark and gloomy and tries to do something. This is the first time I've combined peak HIM training and end of school year madness, and it's not pretty. Hopefully CdA will be! |
