Subject: RE: 6.16.17 Fabulous Friday! Track brick was okay yesterday. I decided to try and do it without socks - purpose to see if running sockless is a possibility at my next race. It was kind of hard to get in and out of my bike/run shoes. I did get a little hot spot on top of my right foot, but I think that's a result of the tongue of the shoe being a bit off. Today - 11:50 - 3,300 yards. Main set was 5 sets of 200 moderate, 2 x 100 sprint. I didn't make a single one of my sprint intervals. It stunk. I'm supposed to ride 40 miles tomorrow, but will spend most of my day at prison ministry. So, I would guess that the ride won't happen. Alas. Robert - my HR tends to be a bit high, too. Have you done any sort of HR test? How are you determining your zones? |
