Good Morning!

5:45 AM - 1 hr 15 minute bike trainer workout with  Three (3) sets with 5' RI of 3 x 3' @ 115% FTP with 4' RI

I got through this a lot easier than I did when I did it a month ago. :-)

Later today 1800 yards in the pool.

Have a Great Day BT!

30 minutes on the spin bike/bike trainer - not sure which is the proper name for it...?
I am lucky that my building has a tiny little gym with such equipment. 1) I can bike/run when weather sucks, 2) I can do climbing training, which is impossible in the flat area where I live.

I did 30 minutes of bike climbing

I miss my old school! We had a great set-up for training, with a 25m pool downstairs in the building where I worked (though in reality, I often had to share it with kids' teams and clubs, and my workouts sometimes got cut short by monsoon thunderstorms). There was also a well-equipped gym with strength and cardio equipment, and the fields were nice for short runs after work during dry season.

I think a spin bike is a bike at the gym; the bike trainer is your own bike on a stand thingie that holds it up and (for smart trainers) varies the resistance.

1800 yards of swimming this morning (which I did in exactly the same total time as Monday--how does that happen?!) and 51 minutes and change of running this afternoon. It looked like it was going to storm when I set out, but it didn't, just cooled off, which made for perfect running weather. I am always paranoid about getting hailed on here--we live about six miles west and 4500 vertical feet down from a pretty big mountain that seems to attract thunder and hailstorms like a magnet and then fling them on in our direction!

15 easy miles on the trainer. Legs were still a little dead from the big gear, low cadence session the other night. Might have to double down on those workouts.

Lunch Swim - 1000m was all that time allowed.

Evening run, out for 6 miles during small sons baseball warmup. At mile 3 the skies blackened and the winds swirled, down came rain and some hail.

4.2 miles done.

Everyone safe.

Cheers,

Steve

Steve, I feel that we are always on the same schedule.  I did 1000m swim on Monday because that was all the time I thought I could get in at my folks home without family wondering where I had disappeared to.  This morning I had a 6-mile run scheduled and was only able to get 4.2 in.
