Hey guys, I need to think of some stuff for my X-mas list. Any of you have any cool ideas, I can't seem to think of anything other than Race wheels for my bike which are way out of everyones price range Haha, although if Zipp's somehow showed up under the tree I certainly wouldn't complain. Let me know of some cool things you have got for running, biking or swimming over the years.

Cheers,

Mike

I got a little portable electronic metronome from my brother this year ( early gift) Amazon about 35.00 great for helping me work on increasing cadence, GPS / watch system not as pricey as Zipps and a nice toy for training/running. ohhh and lets not forget the ever popular body shaver Laughing

I agree that Zipp's would be kind of nice for Christmas, but don't hold your breath unless your wife or family are very rich.  There must plenty of smaller ticket tri related items you need that are within everyone's reach, ie goggles, tri bag, racing tires, cycling shoes, running shoes, new saddle, aero bars, clipless pedals, HR monitor, hat, tri shorts, tri top, tri suit, magazine subscription, sunglasses, etc.  My wife just bought me a new Pneumo Giro helmet for my birthday ... that was pretty nice.  Even though it sounds goofy, I would love to receive racing tires for Christmas.  Hey, at $70 each they are not really cheap!

I secretly want a Polar HR monitor CS200cad, but I know I'm not getting it. I'm getting a trip to NYC instead which is still pretty cool. I just gave this HR monitory as a birthday gift and it was appreciated.

How about:

  • lights
  • tires
  • HR monitor
  • pedometer
  • GPS unit
  • cycling/running clothing
  • membership for a club/clinic
  • race entry
  • googles
  • fins
  • paddles
  • pullbouy
  • bars/gels might be good stocking stuffers
  • trainer/rollers
  • Cycling/Triathlon DVDs
  • Workouts in a binder
