Looked close, but great teamwork--congrats to all, and big congrats to Michael Phelps--8 medals--he did it, 2 with the awesome help of other great American swimmers! Great job guys! you all made us proud!

They did well.   Just glad nobody false started.....oh egads. that would have been terrible for everyone...even the judges.

Yes, he did it. They did it. Two of his medals were truly team events, both of which were cinched by the reliabe Jason Lezak.

Beautiful, fantastic, the stuff of dreams and legends. What more can be said?

Lezak is a UC Santa Barbara Grad.  Just like Jim Rome.....Can't wait till Jim interviews him.....Gauchos!!!!!

Yes, although in last night's relay, Phelps' performance played a huge role in their win.

I thought he had 3 relay golds. 4 X 100 m Free, 4 X 200 m free, and the 4 X 100 medley

Yup, 3 of them were relay golds.

Still pretty amazing.  I will admit that I was standing up in my living room shouting at the TV during the last leg of that relay last night!
