Subject: RE: Swim Cap Aero[Hydro?]dynamics? When I was on a competitive swim team (Many, many, many years ago now ) several of the guys were Nationally ranked swimmers and had short hair most of the time and still wore swim caps. Untill it came down to either State or National competitions, then they shaved their heads/bodies and swam without a cap. Similar to most of the Olympic swimmers also, right? I prefer wearing a swim cap, I also keep mine over my goggles and over my ears. It took me a little while to get used to it, but it is how I race and logically it should be more hydrodynamic.
