Subject: All you Netflixers...

Just curious but has anyone seen a rather notable upturn in the number of disks arriving damages/unplayable.  After never having one arrive so much as cratched for several months of membership I've had three in the last 30 days that showed up cracked on snapped clean in half.  I'm now convinced that postal workers are lashing out at the NetFlix community for vastly increasing their workload...

One month here and no issues (3x membership).  Bit PO'd that a used one I bought had a snapped center holder thing-y, but hey - any day that involves duck tape (sic) is a good one.  Check this space for more news as the opportunities continue ... .

I have been a member for over a year and have had only 2 bad discs in that time. Sorry for the rotten discs, that sucks!

I had a 2 week stretch last summer where every movie I received was either broken, scratched, or the wrong movie. They gave me the month for 10 bucks off or something like that.

We've had more that have been unplayable (scratched, etc.) in recent months than in the past, but I don't think it's been too horrible.  Maybe it's related to the distribution center that sends out your discs?

hehe, I worked for the post office during christmas...honestly, you're lucky it made it there in 1 piece. So much mail gets processed every day that we literally pick it up off a belt, sort it by 1st number of post code, and CHUCK it, literally THROW it. The envelopes get sorted a bit differently, but still..depending on what it is it gets stuck with big stuff on occasion.
