From the manufacturer:

he DePaula Za11 combines a very rigid frame with a skin surface that has been tuned in all of the Aero Zones to optimize airflow making it one of the most aerodynamic frames for time trials and triathlons.

The stiff frame and specially designed bottom bracket result in maximum power transfer to the road. The cabling on the Za11 was specifically designed to eliminate drag and maximize shifting performance by running the cables internally through the aerobars and the frame.

The Za11 also incorporates technology to make it more comfortable by removing unnecessary material thus reducing vibration and improving the ride quality.

The DePaula Za11 is an excellent bike for anyone who is seeking a comfortable ride while allowing for maximum.

An Excerpt from a review about DePaula bikes:

"I’ve had it out on several rides now and I will have to say I love it. The damping feeling of the carbon makes even the roughest road feel like new blacktop. The bike is super stiff, allowing for maximum power to the pedals and drivetrain. The bike is super light, even with the parts I brought for the build, weighing in the high16 lbs range. So imagine building it with the Mavic Cosmic carbon wheels and all other carbon parts and it can easily come in at 14 lbs. The steering is so responsive and direct. It is like the newer digital cameras, point and shoot. Overall I am most impressed with the light but sturdy frames. A friend told me a story of running his over in his car, on accident, and the frame did not break (don’t try that at home)."

Selling because bike is a little small for me, I have short legs and long torso and I am little jammed up in the body dimension. Would consider trades for something like a speed concept 7/above in large or Felt DA/above in a 54 (both those bikes seem to be a little longer in the geometry) Thanks

I have always been an athlete, growing up playing team sports like basketball and soccer. I also ran in a couple of 10K races every year, so I had no reason to worry about running a 5K...right?

After I left the running store, I couldn't stop thinking about the sprint tri and how much of a challenge it would be for me. So instead of joining a gym, I started riding my bike and it felt great.

A bike is NOT a piece of metal with a couple of wheels at either end and a steering thing to stop you running over old ladies. No! ... a bike is a space-age “weapon of mass confusion.”
