Subject: BT Training Log help
When I go into my (or others) training log, there is a calendar on the left hand side. Some days on mine are pink and some are yellow. When I look at others, there are days that are blue or green. What do these colors mean? Also, is there some easy way to get to the logs of friends to see how they did besides bookmarking the page? Like some way to store links to friends logs within BT? Am I missing the BT101 Help for New Users page?

Thanks.

Yes, configuring your friends for easy linking can be found in Section 12 at: http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cms/article-detail.asp?articleid=417

The minicalendar color-codes are at:

All training log FAQ's can be found through the '?' found in your log or at:

I will take a stab at this....

Each color represents a different logging feature.  A peach color typically represents a tri related sport (swim, bike, run).  If it is more pink, it represents other sports such as weight lifting, yoga, etc.  White represents nothing logged while yellow means you blogged but didn't log an activity. If I recall correctly, blue is a scheduled reace and red means you were injured.

This is off the top of my head.  If you visit the Training Log forum there is an article that walks you through how to interpret your graphs, add friends, etc.

EDIT:  Or just follow Ron's links.  He is the man!

Very helpful. Thanks very much. Is there some way that you specify a day as a rest day?

If you only log 'health' data, it will show up as 'blue' in your minicalendar...could be easily seen as a rest day.

Or you can only log 'overall comments' and it will show up as 'yellow' signifying a rest day.

Hey TexOma!

Might be best to post this over in the 'Training and Nutrition Logs' section http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/forum-view.asp?fid=9#s

Some of the colors like light pink are S/B/R training days, dark pink are strentgh/sports days, Red or Red outline is an injury day(s), yellow is general comments added to 'Overall comments for today', Gray/blue is for adding inputs for your Sleep. weight, etc at the top of the log and Green are race days were you added in a race in your race log calender.  There is a description somewhere on BT for this.

For bookmarking the logs of others, on the left side (column) you should find the words "Change display settings" under your Total Volume graph. If you click on that it will shortcut you to the page where you can add in the logs of others, up to 30 on the right hand side.  You type in their screen name (or click on the 3 dots button and do a search) and hit APPLY on the bottom of the page and you'll have direct access to others logs from your own training Log page on the bottom left.

Hope this helps some!
