Subject: hi everyone, im from michigan!
ive been a runner for 10 years and have been working on the swim for a month. its been very slow improvement, but improvement nonetheless. im also looking to buy a bike so i can start training in that area, but im using my roommates right now. i hope to do an olympic tri next summer if all goes well!

duuuuuude, i'm from MI, too.  there is a ton of us on here if you wanna train with some people.  in fact, we are doing the first annual trixieville marathon NOV 11th.  wanna join? very informal long run through the potowatami trails in pinckney. you can just do a few miles or the whole thing...it'll be fun, i swear
