What would you do differently?:

Start out a little faster. This was my first time doing the Ascent and I started out pretty slow. Passing was difficult and probably added 15 - 20 min or better to my time

Nice Job.  I want to do the Marathon some day.  I have done Ironman, now I'm thinking about Pikes Peak or a 100 miler!

I plan to do the Marathon this year and regret not doing it last year. It was cold and snowy at the top and took almost 3 hours to take the shuttle back to the bottom, and
I am sure I could have done better then that. This year is going to be the 50th anniversary run so I know they will do it up right, so I plan to run the Marathon. Registration
begins on 3/1/05 and is limited to 2000 runners. The website is: http://www.pikespeakmarathon.org/

If you can do an Ironman this will seem like a day in the park......

Thanks, but I don't know about that.  It is listed as the toughest marathon in the U.S.  Well I hope so at 14,000 feet it had better be.  I don't know if I will do it this year.  My schedule is planned. I will shoot for 2007.
