If it were Threshold, mostly likely it would say "run at or near your LT" (lactate threashold ). Your tempo pace is basically your Half Mary Pace minus 10-15 seconds per mile (some say ). I think if it as Z4 work. Just under my LT... Whereas my threashold pace is 5k pace or a VERY hard effort - harder than temp. There's my 0.02 - for whatever that's worth.
