I was trying to update my goals on my dashboard. When I open it up there is no longer the easy to use text editor, but instead a bunch of mumbo jumbo I don't know how to edit. How do I get the old style text editor back?

It's escaping me right now.... but SOMEWHERE (yeah, helpful, I know...) there's a option to make it "rich text" vs "html." Yours might be set to HTML, and you want it to be the other way around.

Jeez, that'd vague. I hope that helps. I forgot where to find that option...

Settings > Forum Settings > Use rich editor for blog and forum posts? "Yes"

If you are using Google's Chrome browser, I find that it occasionally brings up a plain text view.  I have to Ctrl+F5 to clear the cache and then click the Blog link again to get the editor back.

Safari does the same thing occasionally, I just refresh the page and try again.

Well it must be the Safari because when I get on my work computer (PC) things work fine. I haven't been able to do normal editing on my Mac. I figured out how to delete something, but that is is.

Yes, either CTRL+F5 when this happens or use FireFox.

Safari and Chrome use the same underlying engine which is the source of the problem.
