Kurt Kinetic deals in SW Ontario?

I'm surprised the price difference is so small.  Usually stuff is at least 30-50% cheaper state side.

Talk to your LBS and see if they will move on the price or cash deal etc. keep the sale local if you can.

I do buy from the US if I get a large savings, if not then I try to buy local even if it cost me a few bucks more. In doing this my LBS almost always gives me 15% off on everything I buy now because I use them even if it cost me a few bucks more, and I have sent many people to them.

Your LBS might be willing to knock 40-60 bucks off and bring into a price range that works for you. Hoping the boarder for a big ticket item like that might not be so cheap once you get it home, even more so if you have a warranty issue.

with that said I will drop Matt at my LBS and see if they have one in stock and get a price for you. If they don't have one left they may or may not order one, its a small shop in a small town so they don't like to sit on last years stock very much.

I just bought mine at Velotique in Toronto.  I researched a lot and checked Kijiji and Craigslist for a while (with no luck).  Lowest price I found was $369 which is what I paid.  My LBS is Cyclepath but they don't carry them there.  I was extremely unimpressed with the customer service at Velotique but I liked the price so I sucked it up.

The Oakville cyclepath has it for $379 but you might get killed with shipping costs if that's too far for you to travel.  Well, I guess it wouldn't make sense if you could get it locally for just $10 more.
