New user 8 Saratoga Springs, NY |  Subject: First timer here!I am a 27 year old from Upstate NY near Albany. I just returned from St. Croix where I watched part of the Half-Ironman, and it has inspired me to begin training. I am in relatively good shape, although I could stand to lose a few pounds. I am an avid runner, I have biked a lot in the past, and have never swam a lap before in my life until this week. Luckily my wife was a national swimmer in college and is now a swim coach. So wish me luck in my endeavors and I hope to get to know many of you over time. Hopefully we can all give each other support when we cannot face another 10 mile run!! |
