Subject: RE: IT question (email related)With Outlook the easiest way to do it is to create a local PST file as was mentioned. I did a quick youtube search here for the directions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdsX0CTEdzM basically a pst file is a local mail folder for your email. Once you create the pst it will be just like any other folder in outlook, so you just take your old folders/emails and copy them into the pst file. Then you close the old email program and open your new email and open the same local pst file. You then copy them from the local pst file to a folder in your exchange account. We do a lot of email migration as a business and this is exactly how we do it. Trying to do it at the server level is wrought with peril. |
