Subject: IM 70.3 fastest courses!
Looking for the fastest IM 70.3 courses in the US. My time for a full was 10:16:30 and i am hoping to race sub 4:30 for my first half distance. Looking for the fastest courses.

I've done NC and Augusta. Both are fast. Swim is a toss up both are down stream with a good current. August is straighter. NC is wetsuit. Last year August was not (first time ever). Bike - NC is flatter. So depends if you like hills or not. I was faster at Augusta then NC. Run is a toss up. Big factor is the weather. August was very hot last year. NC has cooler weather.

I'm surprised you left Arizona off of this list. I have done Arizona and Wisconsin. My time at Arizona is about an hour faster. Which at the 70.3 distance is a huge difference.
