Yesterday and today when trying to upload my workouts from my garmin I get the message to contact you (nicely) and send the file. I don't know how to send the workout file. When I click get data it shows the workout, but the problem occurs when I click upload data.  Thanks for your help!

Hi Roni,

It looks like the process is timing out due to a large workout file,  slow connection or a combination of both. I've made a change that could help with this. Try again and let me know the results.

BTW, to speed things up it definitely helps to be using a newer generation browser like FF 3 or IE 7.

I tried again, but no luck. I am running IE 7, and have a broadband connection. They are pretty large files though, so I guess I'll just wait and see what happens with my shorter workout today. Thanks!

Still had the same problem today with a 20 minute 2 lap run. I'll delete my garmin history and try uninstalling reinstalling the plug in again. Not sure what else to do.

Cleared browser history and was able to upload todays workout. Still no luck with the previous longer workouts though.

Still having problems with garmin uploads. I did a half mary today and tried to upload it. Same issue as before; "get data" shows workout, but when I try to upload to log, I get the error message to contact BT and send file if possible. Sometimes it uploads my workouts fine, but it has been really "hit and miss" lately. I tried clearing browser history, uninstalling/reinstalling plug in, but no luck.

I've sent you a PM about this.

Can you send me a PM about it also? I still run into this every once in a while. Although, I'm 99.9% sure it's my crappy broadband connection. FYI, sprints DSL sucks! Even the best service!

I want to tag on to this.

Recently, I have found that Garmin will upload fine with Firefox, but not IE (used to work with IE for years).  Granted, I recently messed with my IE add-ons, but I don't think I screwed with the Garmin Communicator.

I plan to investigate further, but it DOES sound like an IE issue, right?
