I am registered for the sprint - but cannot race due to injury. I cannot bike and I cannot run - so ... ;-(

If my physio clears me to stand on my feet for that long I'll be volunteering, or I might just drop by for a bit to cheer some peeps across the finish line (and cry a bit on the inside) ...

I'll be there!!  I love that race.

Chris, what's the water like?  Any chance that they might say "no wet suits"?  If they do I'm screwed.

Trina-Rae, so sorry to hear that you are injured.  Hopefully you'll get the green light to come out and cheer!

While i only went into the lake up to my waist, it was good... I highly doubt wetsuits will be illegal... it was still on the cold side, great for swimming I think!

Keep your eyes open for a blonde tattooed young guy, that will be me!

I am in for the Half relay.  I am the old lady on the team stuck doing the run when my true calling is in the water.  Silly 25 yr olds choosing the 38 yr mommy of 3  kids ages 3,4 and 9 to run.  Oh well I will rock it and finish with a smile.  Hope those young ones don't plan on wining.  Oh I put the team together.  Why am I complaining.  See you there!!!!

I'm in for the half, wa sreally looking fwd to it, but i've been sick all last week. Just starting to feel a bit better today so hopefully all will be well come next Sunday. Don't worry about wetsuits, unless it is 30+ all week here it will be wetsuit legal for sure. Good luck all.

I'm in!
Back from Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships, but got sick Monday and still haven't recovered.  Chest is congested and sinuses are being jerks!

Regardless, I will be there to race my face off!

And how did it go, Derek? Kicked arse and saved 'lives', I presume? ;-)

I'm not volunteering on Sunday (my back is WAY too sore to work/stand around for 6 hours - damm physio sticking her fingers in my spine) ... but I might come down later on to cheer some peeps across the finish line!
