Subject: NEW Bush highway bike lane
MCDOT just awarded a contract for an extension of the bike lanes on Bush highway.  They will be extending from the 4-way stop out to Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch turn-off.  Supposed to start Sept 9 and be finished in 80 days or less.

AWESOME!!!   I'll bet everything I have (which isn't much) that it won't be finished in 80 days or less though.  That is going to be great!

I don't give a crappola how long it takes as it will be better than what was there before - NOTHING!

And what a GORGEOUS cycling route this will be!

It also give hope for the return of wonderful events like Saguaroman and Ragnar to this area!

80 days means December riding - maybe Robot can plan another spectacular riding event for that time frame (he has skills in this area) so we could all hit the lanes while the paint is still fresh!
