Subject: Possible bike record
Today my wife put our 2 year old in a bike seat and towed our 6 and 4 year old in a trailer to school. And, by the way, she is pregnant. So that means she has a 5 passenger bicycle and a very tired set of legs.

Kinda makes this triathlon stuff, where you don't even carry another person, look easy

I just wish she were in my town so I could pass somebody.  She could probably hold her own on the flats but I bet I could take on the uphill.

On RAGBRAI there was a family of five all attached thusly:

Father and son (10 maybe) and Mother on a triple tandem, with one of those little kid attachment thingys with the seat and handlbars (whatever you call those) for a kid about 5, pulling a baby trailer with a kid about 2.  I just about fell off my bike when I saw them.

Your wife rocks! I bet the kids had a ball.

My little girl basically called me a wimp for not picking her up from school on a bike. She even kept her bike helmet in her backpack all day.

I'll get a pic of the "train" this weekend.
