U eFFin' 2, Baby!

Master  1901    Central, IL |  Subject: U eFFin' 2, Baby!Went to the U2 concert (my 5th one) last night. It has ALWAYS been a dream of mine to get good seats to a U2 concert but I never have. Last night was no different. We had general admission tickets but were NOT selected to enter the "Bomb Shelter" or inner-stage area. Too bad until..... My wife found (3) arm braclets on the floor! What luck! Like on Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - - she found three GOLDEN TICKETS. What is really great is the inner-stage was already mostly full so security "forced" us to stage up front, right in front of Adam Clayton (bass player). We were less than 4 people from the stage, itself. I was like a kid in a candy store. Bono walked past me (ramp) several times. Just totally awesome luck, awesome concert, awesome night!!! Veteran 290 Denver | Subject: RE: U eFFin' 2, Baby! I cannot tell you how jealous I am! We saw them last spring when they were in Denver. Great, great, great show! We had good seats, but nothin' like the Bomb Shelter! Very sweet! |

And I have *never* been to a U2 concert. WTF? I think my first album was 'boy' or 'war', and I've been listening ever since. Got lost in the zooropa years, but like they latest stuff. Heheh. Just kidding about the sucking. I think that's awesome that you got to to bomb shelter. I've passed a couple oppotunities to go see them in the past, and I'm kicking myself now that they are so popular and it's not as easy to go. Ah well. -C |
