You guys remember that guy who did the ironman and pushed his disabled son? I think they did a DVD about him. Anyone remember? Anyone have the DVD? A link would be nice too

I remember that I was watching the show the year that that happened, but that's about it.  It was incredible, wasn't it?  Those are the types of things that drew me to this sport my whole life, I've just finally gotten off the couch and decided to do something about it.  What that dad did for his son was just amazing.  I wish I could remember the particulars, but I'm sure someone here will.

If you're so inclined, they've had a bit of bad luck and could use some help.

Thanks! I was actually looking for your origional posting in triathlon talk to "bump" it again.

They have a truly awesome story and it is the story that actulally lit the fire of my IronMan dream...

If he can pull his son in a raft, ride a tandem bike with only one person pedaling, and push his son in a jog stroller for 140.6 I should be able to get off my butt and do it alone!

O-ya.. and Tis the season to DONATE to a fellow triathlete in need! So be like Nike and Just do it!

I think this team could light anyone's Ironman fire!  Mine included.
