Hi

Just want to drop you all a note you have a supporter over here in this side of the planet. I am nearly 40 and live in Hong Kong, China. I haven't done a tri yet but am edging towards it. I love to cycle and swim and like many of the beginners begin to start enjoy running. This Jan, I did a 10km run and a half-marathon here in Hong Kong and loved it. I love also to hike and did a 100km hike last Nov which was tough but very challenging.

I am beating up my swimming skill. My plan is to try out the Aquathon (swim and run only) race in mid-June and see how it goes.

Like many of you, I enjoy reading all the postings here in this site. I like this site very much because it is so international and with lots of good stuff and advice. But the best of all is that you are such a friendly bunch of people.

Sounds like you're well on your way with that background! Good luck with the aquathon. Do they have many tri's in HK?

Tri is growing over here in Hong Kong. However Hong Kong is such a small place thus making cycling very difficult to entertain. Thus there are more duathlon over here. My target is to race in China.
