ran to the registration, walked back to the car to drop stuff off. Went to the IM and watched swimmers for a while, and then went to the race start and ran around an indoor track for a bit.

Comments:

started out a bit fast, 7:40 according to frOmers Garmin at the race mile marker. so we know that was accurate, the rest is a mystery. shoulda started right at 8's then picked it up from there, we slowed down a bit to ensure a strong finish. overall it was an awesome race considering the lack of speed work in my training.
Post race
Warm down:

walked a bit, then ate some chow.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

not training specifically for a 5k (speed)

Event comments:

i love this course and the long sleeve shirts.

when is the next one?

I'm doing Burns Park on 5/7.  We did this race last year, remember?  I figure WE could shave at least 30 seconds off our time and help you get some MORE hardware.

Glad we raced!  Woooooo Hoo!
