Well thanks Chad 85, now HBO Hardknocks has nothing to cover.   No more F-bombs, no more going into coaches meetings.  Now it will be all Tannyhill or Moore for QB.

Hey doesn't bother me if they focus more on Tannyhill... maybe we'll get to see more of his wife.

My Dolphins are very close to losing a 30+ year fan.  Who am I going to give my devotion to now?

Just watched episode 2 of Hard Knocks last night.  Chad might have had a better shot at keeping his job if he wasn't wearing Sean Smith like a life jacket and/or had caught a few balls.  I think the domestic trouble just tipped the team in the direction they could see themselves going anyway.

Unfortunately in today's NFL, I don't think just hitting your wife will get you cut.

ETA--full disclosure, I'm a lifelong Steelers fan and yes, Big Ben demonstrates my point...

Unlike some of your past coaches, Joe Philbin is at least a legitimate and respected football guy who has been part of a winning organization. I wouldn't give up yet.

Getting rid of Marshall and Johnson may have just been addition by subtraction.

I was contacted by someone at the Dolphins last week to get season tickets since I had done so on and off in the past.   I gave them a 5 minute explanation of why I wouldnt even think about buying again.   Then I told them the day they fire Ireland as their GM I will be first in line to buy tickets again.   He is a disgrace to the franchise and while not all his fault, his last 4 yrs have been an embaressment.   Im trying to figure out what the ownership is thinking by keeping him around.

The problem is not the coaching - it is much deeper than that.  Nick Saban was a great coach, sure he left in a bogus way - but can you blame him?  There had to be more to that story than we heard.
