Ever have one of those days when you can just not do wrong?  I'm having one today.

Great ride this morning, on a perfect spring day - warm, sunny, slight breeze, not a cloud in the sky. Followed by a quick run with absolutely NO problems.

Found just the right items for my wife and my mother for Mother's Day, locally sourced and in my hands.

Filled up the car with gas, found much better than expected mileage, this tank.

Got to work, and had a light-traffic day in my office, so I am totally prepared for everything scheduled for today, tomorrow and Monday, and made a dent in some of my backlog items.

Found out at the last minute (from a colleague) about a meeting at 4 PM, while I was just by happenstance in the meeting room; was informed by my boss that my presence at that meeting was not required, and I could go on to other things.

Man, some days are PERFECT.  And this one ain't over yet.

I wish the rest of you one such day (or more?) in the very near future.

Scott

Congrats!!  I love days like that, although as it progresses I wait for the shoe to drop.  Too good of days make me uneasy that it's all about to go to heck.

Go to bed now and eliminate the risk of it going south!

I had a pretty decent day myself.  Banged out a lot of critical items at the office.  Have a nice feeling of accomplishment today.  Looking forward to a good run and nice dinner tonight and cracking a bottle of my latest batch of home brew - it's delicious.

Maybe come up with plans for the date night I plan to have with the wife this weekend.  Thinking about Dim Sum, Ironman 3, then happy hour.  Maybe hit some golf balls.  Not having work items over my head will make that day even better.

Nope.

Thought about that, and decided "I don't believe in jinxes," and posted.  And the day had yet more good stuff - great dinner, good evening with the wife and kids, determined for certain that the bare-root trees I planted in my yard March 30 are, in fact, alive and taking hold, met the new neighbors, who seem quite nice, and had a good 45-minute walk with the dog prior to bedtime.

I am sure today won't be the same, but MAN, was yesterday great.
