Good morning!  So I was a little nutty this morning!

3:30am: (yes, for real!) 2:00 on the trainer...main set 3X 30 min working up through Z2-high Z3--hard but satisfying if that makes sense

5:30am:  :30 minute run with 5X 15' pickups at the end

Now off to Silver Stage, NV for softball games today and tomorrow, about a 6 hour drive...hence the need to get this early brick in!  Luckily I'm a passenger so I can sleep--ready for a nap now!  Lol!

Have a stellar day...if you're out and about celebrating be careful and be safe!

Rich...good luck at your race--what one are you doing?

Wow...I thought I was the only nut up and early at 3:30 AM to train.

8 mile run completed in the nice cold early morning.

After the run, completed my stretching and started my weight/core work.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

AARRRRRGH!! I don't think I have ever gotten up at 3:30, except to catch a 5:XX flight home. 4 to 4:15 AM has kind of been my final "line in the sand" in recent years. Glad you can nap and don't have to drive.

Early wakeup fail here. Got up at 4:35 for a 65 minute trainer ride but my coach had given the option of running off the bike or after work and I took the latter--really trying to finish some work last night and just not ready to call it quits at 8 PM so I could get 8 hours of sleep. PM--25 minute run around our school fields.

Hoping whoever my new downstairs neighbors end up being (Landlord is selling the place and I have to move from my current digs above a coffee shop) can abide by my early AM trainer rides. Rover is probably going to have to move into the living room if there are actually people living downstairs, as opposed to employees who come in at 6 to roast beans.

Hey there. I am playing hooky from work today, and was excited to "sleep in" until 6. Yeah, still woke up at 4:50.

9:15 - 51 mile ride, with 30 miles at 70-75% effort. My left aero bar keeps rotating to the left, so it got uncomfortable. I thought I had gotten it secured, but apparently not. Grrr.

Have a great day and weekend!

Uh, bunch of early birds, I managed to drag my arse out of the sack around 8am

3.6 mile run and a 18 mile tempo ride in the beautiful warm desert sunshine. No winds and lots of wildflower blooms.

Now its time for yardwork out, so lots of core work swinging the weed eater around as my grass has exploded with all the recent rains.

Excellent day to be outside.

That bike ride sounds great. I would love to bike in an area like that one day.

In another story...There was a guy biking this morning in the dark (with lights on his bike) in 30 degrees. I see him all the time at 4:00 AM biking. He must hate the trainer.

44 min zone 2 run on the treadmill. With 3 'hills' - to be exact 8:20/mile pace @ 3.0% for 3 minutes each. Just touched zone 4 on each of the hills. The rest was about 10:00/mile pace.

Travel day on Friday but did manage to get in a quick workout on the Vasa bench and then a 20 minute dreadmill run along with shaking the bike out.

Kim, did Parris Island Sprint on the Marine Corps Depot in South Carolina, pretty cool venue.
