just getting started...and am so excited!

Hello to All!

It's Lara here; the aspiring triathlete. I realized that I couldn't be in any better circumstances to do Ironman next year as I have lived in Penticton BC Canada, home of Ironman Canada, my whole life. I decided that I should take advantage of this opportunity that I have seen come and go since I was a wee one. I am 19 years old, and going to college in the fall and this is going to help me get through the boring winters. I want to test and challenge the heights my body can take me and prove to myself that I can do this! I work at a local gym where I have been getting great help and I have started to run 4-5 times a week and lifting weights. I cant wait to hit the bike and join a swim club!
